Jaipur: Jalupura police station has registered a case of rape against a 17-year-old boy and arrested him after a teenage kabaddi player alleged that he raped her to secure her a place in the national team. According to Bajrang Singh Shekhawat, DCP (North), police have filed an FIR on the 17-year-old girl’s complaint and conducted a medical examination. Her statement under CrPC Section 164 has also been recorded, the DCP said. Police said the girl and the accused were kabaddi players who practiced at the same stadium. Two months ago, the boy lured the minor girl with the promise of selecting her for the national team and raped her in a hotel under the Jalupura police station premises. The girl alleged that during this time, the accused also made an obscene video of her and used it to blackmail her. Further investigation is underway, police said
