1 dead in downtown shooting involving Denver police

DENVER (KDVR) – An adult female was pronounced dead at the scene of a shooting involving Denver Police Department officers Sunday afternoon, according to police.

The incident occurred at the corner of North Broadway and Lawrence Street in downtown.

The shooting forced roads to be closed in the area and people were advised to take alternate routes.
