Rockland man arrested after shooting at Carroll’s Lane home

A Rockland man is facing charges after police say he fired multiple shots at a home on Carroll’s Lane on Friday.

Samuel Ward, 23, of Rockland, was charged with reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon and several outstanding warrants.

According to Rockland police, gunshots were reported near 10 Carroll’s Lane around 1 p.m. on Friday. Upon investigation, it was determined that Ward fired several shots into the home, which pierced the roof of the house. The Maine State Police task force was called to assist after unsuccessful attempts to reach Ward.
