Former WWE star Matt Riddle cancels future shows after car accident

Matt Riddle’s time in WWE was turbulent and marred by controversy over his behavior outside the ring, leading to his unexpected exit last year. Although he’s enjoying himself in other promotions, he apparently had to cancel future shows after a car accident.

Since his departure from WWE, Riddle has been actively involved in various wrestling promotions, including Major League Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling, as well as numerous indie promotions.

The King of Bros informed his fans and followers on Twitter that he would not be able to attend today’s or tomorrow’s show, explaining that the Uber he was traveling in had an accident on the way to the airport.

As a result of the incident, he had to go to the hospital to undergo a medical evaluation. Riddle revealed that he suffered a concussion as well as various bumps and bruises in the accident, but assured everyone that he will eventually recover.

“I just wanted to let everyone know that I will not be on the show tonight or tomorrow. Unfortunately my Uber had an accident on the way to the airport and I had to go to the hospital and get checked out. I have a concussion, bumps and bruises but I’m going to be OK #seatbelt”

Matt Riddle’s current injury is a worrying development and we wish him a speedy recovery. Given that he has suffered a concussion and other injuries, they will likely keep him out of action for a long time.
