Officials said information provided by the community was partly responsible for helping them find him, but they are still trying to figure out how Nigel Sanders got from downtown to where he was arrested and how he escaped from prison.

The 35-year-old also faces additional charges for aggravated robbery and escape, in addition to the original charges. His family members have meanwhile been accused of preventing the arrest of an escaped detainee.
