DA says office can’t prosecute shooter accused of hijacking Atlanta bus, killing man on board – Action News Jax

ATLANTA — The Fulton County District Attorney’s Office says it cannot prosecute the man accused of hijacking a bus in downtown Atlanta on Tuesday and shooting and killing someone on board while putting a gun to the driver’s head and driving him across 3 counties.

A total of 17 people were on the bus at the time and were being held hostage. According to a letter obtained by Investigative journalist Mark Winne with Action News, Jax’s sister station WSB-TVa paralegal with the Fulton County Prosecutor’s Office was one of the passengers on the hijacked bus and was allegedly threatened by the hijacker.
