Two women have been arrested in Russia for raping a 63-year-old man to death. The two women, aged 29 and 37, reportedly spent time drinking with the 63-year-old near a church in Stavropol on the Black Sea. The suspects reportedly killed The man after he refused to have sex with them.

The police report said, among other things, that after the murder, they dragged his body to a forest and hid it in a pit. The body was later found by passersby and the two women were arrested during the murder investigation. In footage released in Russia, women are seen being escorted to the crime scene by authorities while one of them demonstrates how he kicked the victim, who was replaced by a rag doll for the demonstration. Both women are seen handcuffed in the footage, as officials said the victim knew both defendants.

“During the altercation, the two women punched and kicked the 63-year-old on the head and body. He died of his injuries at the scene. To avoid responsibility for the crime, they dragged the body into the forest and hid it in a pit,” says the report by Russian investigators.

The women, Rosa, 29, and Marta, 37, were remanded in custody over the death of 63-year-old Alexander. Their trial is due to begin this week.
