Father of rescued hostage Almog Meir found dead in his house

The father of Almog Meir, one of the four hostages rescued from Hamas captivity, was found dead in his house on Saturday, Israeli media reported on the night of Saturday to Sunday.

According to reports, Meir’s father was previously ill and lived alone, and was found dead in his home when people came to announce the news of his son’s rescue during the IDF operation on Saturday.
