Ten years later, Tracy Morgan reflects on the “fateful” accident: “I will never forget it”

Tracy Morgan recently looked back on his “fateful” accident a decade later.

Exclusively in conversation with PEOPLE Speaking about the accident that turned his life upside down on June 7, 2014, the 55-year-old comedian said: “Today marks 10 years since our fateful accident and I want to say to everyone who was in the van with me that night: I love you and we miss you, Uncle Jimmy Mac, and God bless your family.”

He added: “And I and my comrades forgive the driver from back then and his family.”
