Suspect arrested and charged in connection with May 30 shooting in Kalamazoo Township | WKZO | Everything about Kalamazoo

KALAMAZOO MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Kalamazoo Township Police announced the arrest and charging of a suspect wanted in connection with a May 30 shooting.

At around 2:00 p.m., officers were called to an address in the 1900 block of Colgrove Avenue because shots had been fired at the door of an apartment.

When they arrived, they discovered the bullet holes and found that the occupant of the apartment was unharmed.

Subsequent investigation by the Ministry, With the assistance of the Kalamazoo Metro SWAT team and tips from the public, this led to the arrest of a suspect on Friday, June 7th.

Cameron Shaundell Wilson, 18, was charged with four counts, including two counts of illegal possession of a firearm.

Wilson was arraigned on June 7 with bail set at $100,000 and remains incarcerated in the Kalamazoo County Jail.
