Woman killed after being hit by suspect fleeing police in south Houston

HOUSTON – A woman is dead after being struck by a wanted suspect who was fleeing police in a vehicle in south Houston.

The pursuit ended at 3557 Rebecca Street.

Police said the suspect was wanted in connection with a shooting. Officers pursued the suspect for a short time before he crashed.

The woman, identified by police as a pedestrian, was struck and killed by the suspect.

Police are still searching for the suspect. Other details are limited at this time.
