The warrant stemmed from an investigation by a Montgomery County 3rd District Detective into the promotion and distribution of child pornography in The Woodlands. The investigation revealed that Derek Joseph Moe was involved in the promotion and possession of thousands of images depicting sexual assaults of children and infants, according to the constable’s office.

Moe is charged in Montgomery County with five counts of promoting and distributing child pornography. He is currently being held in the Montgomery County Jail on $150,000 bail.

Further investigation revealed that Moe works as a dive instructor at a dive school in The Woodlands. Investigators are urging the public to call 281-364-4211 if they have interacted with Moe and have concerns.
