Brutal accident sends Jason Aldean’s wife Brittany Aldean to the emergency room

I can think of better ways for the Aldean family to spend their romantic getaway than in the emergency room.

The power couple is vacationing in Switzerland, enjoying the scenery and visiting the tourist attractions. Unfortunately, a twist of fate lands his wife Brittany Aldean in the emergency room. On Instagram, she posted a video of herself in a cast, sipping a drink. “You’re probably wondering how I ended up here. I broke my hand in Switzerland,” she smiles with a sarcastic “Cheers!”

She captioned the post with a play on words and continued to make fun of the incident. “I took the not-so-steep cable car and ended up in the emergency room,” she wrote.

How did Brittany Aldean break her hand?

In a group of Instagram stories, she describes in detail the fun she’s having in Switzerland and how she got injured. “A few days ago we were in Switzerland, it was about 11pm, so super late,” Aldean recalls. “We went up on the funicular, which is basically this little train that takes you up the mountain. It took us to our hotel. My body weight shifted forward and fell down the stairs, and then my hand stopped.”

The doctors tell her that she has broken something in her palm and that she will keep us updated on the healing process. At least she is making a big fuss about it.

This came just after an otherwise great year for her. Husband and country superstar Jason Aldean stole the show at the ACM Awards by singing Toby Keith’s “Should’ve Been a Cowboy” in tribute to the late country star. Fans loved it, and the family was even more touched by the performance. The camera panned to the family singing along, tears streaming down their cheeks.

The Aldean family cannot be suppressed for too long. Here’s to a speedy recovery for Brittany.
