Two people arrested after tying up and robbing their North Bay home

(KRON) — Two people were tied up and robbed in their Santa Rosa home Thursday, Santa Rosa police said. Two suspects were arrested in connection with the robbery.

The SRPD responded to the robbery in the 1800 block of Walzer Road at 9:50 a.m. They found the two adult male victims handcuffed but unharmed.


The victims told police that a man entered their home, tied them up at gunpoint, and stole cash. He then took one of the victims’ cars and left it on a nearby street.

Police were unable to locate the suspect at the scene, but identified him from surveillance video as 61-year-old Agustin Anguiano-Soto of Santa Rosa.

Later Thursday, police found Anguiano-Soto on the street in Rohnert Park. He was arrested in the area of ​​Dowdell Drive and Golf Course Drive West. Police found evidence of the robbery in the car, the SRPD said.

Days later, the SRPD learned that Juan Uribe-Villafana, 40, of Santa Rosa, was involved in planning and executing the robbery. He was arrested Monday in the area of ​​Flower Avenue and Santa Rosa Avenue.

Both men were arrested for first-degree robbery, false imprisonment, burglary and auto theft.
