Five people arrested on various charges in northwest Arkansas

Benton County Sheriff’s Office

Dylan Echols, 22, of 14239 Chapel Park Road in Cottondale, Alabama, was arrested Thursday on charges of sexual extortion and producing, directing or promoting a sexual performance by a child. Echols was being held Friday in the Benton County Jail, with no bail set.

Bentonville

Thomas Harper, 34, of 12617 N. Old Wire Road in Rogers, was arrested Thursday on charges of rape and sexual abuse of a child. Harper was being held in the Benton County Jail on Friday and no bail was set.

Fayetteville

Michael Weaver, 47, homeless, of Fayetteville, was arrested Friday in connection with possession of a Schedule I or II controlled substance with the intent to resell. Weaver was released from the Washington County Detention Center on Friday on a felony charge.

Rogers

Marcy Tripp, 53, 960 N. 16th St. Apt. 104 in Rogers, was arrested Thursday in connection with delivery of methamphetamine/cocaine. Tripp was being held in the Benton County Jail on Friday; bail was not set.

Springdale

Cynthia Martin, 62, of 3827 Serenity St. in Springdale, was arrested Thursday in connection with aggravated battery on a family or household member and second-degree domestic violence. Martin was released from the Washington County Detention Center on $10,000 bail on Friday.
