WATCH: British pub and staff ‘attacked by Moroccan men’ on Spain’s Costa Brava

THIS is the moment a British pub and its staff were attacked by a group of men on the Costa Brava.

Video footage published on the Internet shows how the attackers – apparently Moroccans – devastated the bar with batons and bar stools.

Two men are seen attacking a man behind the bar, one of them covering his face with a t-shirt.

One of them hits the victim with something that looks like a wooden baseball bat.

British voices can be heard shouting at them and telling them to leave the hall while throwing chairs and stools across the hall.

According to witness statements quoted by La Razon, a fight had previously broken out between English and Moroccan guests.

The trigger for the violence is unknown, but police investigations are said to be ongoing.

Video footage is reportedly being examined and witness statements are being recorded.

The shocking attack was recorded by a client on his mobile phone in early May.

The bar is located in the town of L’Estartit in the northeast of Girona.
