LATEST FORECAST

Here’s WAVE News meteorologist Ryan Hoke with his forecast.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Today is a WAVE Weather Warning day as several severe thunderstorms are expected. The first will arrive around 11 a.m. and the main threat will be damaging winds and heavy rain. There will be no more showers by the late afternoon and evening.

After 10 p.m., another storm front will move into the region, bringing with it the risk of damaging winds, heavy rain, hail and isolated tornadoes. You have several options for getting alerted to these nightly storms.

Once the remaining showers leave the region on Monday morning, the rest of the day looks to be mostly dry. Although a few isolated showers cannot be ruled out tomorrow afternoon, for the most part there will be a mix of sun and cloud with highs around 27°C. Mostly clear skies are expected Monday evening. Temperatures will fall to 10°C by Tuesday morning as a few isolated showers move back into the region.

There is a chance of a small thunderstorm again on Monday afternoon, but it will remain mostly dry. A much cooler weather pattern is expected for the rest of the forecast.
