Sean “Diddy” Combs faces another sexual assault lawsuit

(NewsNation) — According to multiple reports, another woman has filed a sexual assault lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs.

April Lampros filed a lawsuit against Combs, his label Bad Boy Records and Arista Records in New York on Thursday. She accuses Combs of committing multiple rapes and assaults between the mid-1990s and the early 2000s.

“Combs promised to mentor her, introduce her to music and fashion industry executives, and help her find employment,” the lawsuit states.

“She felt that if she disobeyed him, he would take away her dream of a career in his world. Mr. Combs also threatened to blacklist her from the industry if she tried to mess with him in any way.”

The lawsuit contains detailed accounts of Lampros’ allegations. Among other things, the couple’s relationship is said to have evolved from a phase of “love bombing” with gifts to Combs to a phase of violence.

Lampros’ lawsuit comes days after Combs apologized to his ex-girlfriend Casandra “Cassie” Ventura after a video surfaced showing him punching Ventura in the hallway of a Los Angeles hotel in 2016.

This is the second lawsuit filed against Combs this week. Crystal McKinney accuses Combs of drugging and sexually abusing her in his New York studio in 2003.
