UP Horror: Minor raped for a year and impregnated by brothers in Ghaziabad

Ghaziabad: Two brothers have been arrested for allegedly raping their 14-year-old sister, a police official said on Monday. The accused were arrested on Sunday and it was found that they had sexually exploited the minor, who is studying in eighth grade, over the past year, causing her to become pregnant. Police took action after the victim’s mother lodged a complaint at Tila Morh police station.

According to the police, the accused repeatedly attacked the girl last year and also threatened her not to tell anyone. The matter came to light on Saturday when the girl complained of stomach pain. Her mother took her to a doctor in Delhi and had an ultrasound scan done. The test reports revealed that the young girl was 22 weeks pregnant, police said.
