Suspect hunted after man attacked in pub in Erskine

The 62-year-old victim was in the Bracken Pub in the Bridgewater Shopping Center in Erskine on Saturday, May 11, when he was attacked at around 5.55pm.

He was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital to be treated for his injuries and later released.

Attempts are being made to find the attacker, who is described as white, between 35 and 45 years old, of medium build and with black hair.

He was wearing a black polo shirt with white trim, black jeans, black glasses and white sneakers.

Police are also asking anyone with information about the attack to contact them.

Detective Constable James Campbell said: “Our inquiries are ongoing and I would urge any witnesses who have not yet spoken to police, or anyone with information, to get in touch. I would also ask anyone who has personal footage to contact me.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact 101 quoting incident 2952 of May 11. Alternatively you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where anonymity can be maintained.”
