Man injured in motorcycle accident in Renville County – West Central Tribune

RENVILLE COUNTY – A 32-year-old Sleepy Eye man was injured in a motorcycle accident in Renville County early Sunday morning when he turned to miss a deer.

Taylor John Bolinger was driving a 2013 Harley Davidson Cruiser south on Minnesota Highway 4 near mile marker 88 in Martinsburg Township at 1:49 a.m. Sunday when he swerved to miss a deer and into the ditch drove.

Bolinger suffered life-threatening injuries in the accident and was taken to Olivia Hospital.

He was not wearing a helmet and alcohol was involved in the accident.

Assisting at the scene were Hector Police and Ambulance, as well as the Renville County Sheriff’s Office.

The Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office took a report of an overdue kayaker on Nest Lake near Spicer at 10:37 a.m. Sunday. The kayak was found by 1:15 p.m., but the search for the kayaker is not continuing.
