North Philadelphia police officer injured in gas station accident – NBC10 Philadelphia

An officer was injured in a crash in North Philadelphia on Saturday evening, a Philadelphia Police Department spokesman said.

The officer was pulling out of a gas station parking lot in the 100 block of West Lehigh Avenue when a person collided with his patrol car, police said.

When paramedics arrived on scene, they determined the person did not require assistance and transported the officer to a nearby hospital, according to police.

The officer is expected to be fine, police said.
