One dead in crash in Dothan | WDHN

DOTHAN, Alabama (WDHN) – One person was killed in a car crash Monday evening on the busy Dothan Highway.

The accident occurred shortly after 6 p.m.


Houston County Coroner Robert Byrd told WDHN that the driver left the road in the area of ​​6600 West Main Street, next to the Boy Scouts of America building, and struck a tree about 100 feet from the bridge.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

The driver’s name will be released once next of kin have been notified.
