Center Moriches man sentenced to 20 years in prison for raping his stepdaughter

A Center Moriches man was sentenced to 20 years in prison for raping his stepdaughter for years.

The assaults began in 2014, when the girl was only seven years old. They only stopped in 2023, when the victim told her mother.

The mother pretended to go to work, but came back and caught him before he tried to attack the girl again.

To protect the identity of the victim, the public prosecutor’s office is not disclosing the name of the suspect.
