TSA to hire agents at Buffalo-Niagara Airport

The TSA is looking to hire new agents at the Buffalo-Niagara International Airport.

The agency expects a busy travel season this summer and needs more officers to support passenger screening operations.

“Applicants do not need prior security or law enforcement experience. Our agents will receive extensive training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center and will be paid during their training,” said Bart R. Johnson, TSA’s federal director of airport security. in upstate New York.

“TSA was created after the tragic attacks of September 11, 2001, and by joining TSA, you will be on the front lines of protecting the traveling public and will also be part of our national security enterprise,” Johnson added.
