One dead in Saturday night shooting near Hampton Heights

A 27-year-old man is dead after being shot in northwest Milwaukee on Saturday night. Milwaukee police said the shooting occurred around 9:30 p.m. Saturday near 58th Street and Hampton Avenue in the Hampton Heights neighborhood. The 27-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene from the gunshot wounds he sustained. Milwaukee police are investigating the circumstances leading up to the shooting and are looking for unknown suspects.
