Josh Allen and Dion Dawkins are happy to see Kim Pegula at Buffalo Bills camp

The Buffalo Bills wrapped up their third day of 2024 training camp on Friday. The team got a surprise.

Accompanied by her husband and team owner Terry Pegula, Kim Pegula made her first public appearance in years, helping the team out of their usual huddle at the end of practice.

Kim, 55, suffered a cardiac arrest in 2022. Until then, she had only watched training camp practices from an SUV on the sidelines. Going to the rally was her first real opportunity to be in the public eye.

It was later revealed that Pegula had been battling lingering effects from her cardiac arrest… because of that, it was all the more special for the players to see her. Two longtime Bills certainly were.

“It just shows progress,” offensive lineman Dion Dawkins said. “We’re proud of her, she’s still a mama bear.”

“The least we can do is rally around her,” quarterback Josh Allen added.
