Man dead, daughter injured after motorcycle crash in Cherokee Co.

CHEROKEE COUNTY, SC (FOX Carolina) – The Cherokee County Coroner’s Office said officials are investigating after a car crash that left a man dead and his daughter injured.

According to officials, the accident occurred around 6:58 p.m. along South Green River Road.

According to authorities, the victim was riding the motorcycle on South Green River Road when he lost control, left the right side of the road and struck a tree.

Officials said the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The medical examiner identified him as 39-year-old Joshua Howard. Officials added that Howard’s 13-year-old daughter was also on the motorcycle when it crashed. Officials confirmed she was taken to the hospital for treatment, but her current condition is unknown.
