OPSO arrests man after series of car break-ins in West Monroe

WEST MONROE, Louisiana (KNOE) – A West Monroe man has been arrested for his involvement in a series of car break-ins, according to the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office.

On July 17, OPSO officers responded to reports of vehicles being broken into in the Knoll Creek neighborhood. Authorities said all of the break-ins occurred “from unsecured vehicles, with the suspects only taking money.”

In a press release, OPSO said investigators had identified the suspects responsible.

On July 22, officers arrested 21-year-old Lawrence Chisolm of West Monroe. Chisolm was charged with six counts of burglary.

OPSO said further arrests were expected.
