2 people arrested in connection with reported shooting in Dayton – WHIO TV 7 and WHIO Radio

According to initial reports, the suspects probably left the crime scene in a vehicle.

News Center 7 crews responded to the scene and saw several patrol cars near the Main Mart supermarket at the corner of W Parkwood Drive and N Main Street.

The sergeant said officers caught up with the suspects, found several firearms in their vehicle and took them into custody for “illegal possession of a firearm.”

Montgomery County jail records show that two people were arrested at the supermarket around 12:30 p.m. on weapons charges.

The sergeant said no one was shot or injured in the incident.
