Rain is expected at the end of the weekend

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Isolated rain and storms are forecast for the next 7 days.

Any showers and thunderstorms we had today will clear up shortly after sunset this evening. Lows will drop to around 21 degrees.

Sunday will begin dry with lots of clouds. Maximum temperatures will be between 30 and 35 degrees Celsius, while isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected in the afternoon and evening.

Unsettled weather will continue next week, with the possibility of daily showers and thunderstorms as a disturbance in the upper atmosphere hovers over us for several days. An average of 1-3 inches of rain is expected by the end of the week.

On Monday there will be isolated rain showers and thunderstorms with maximum temperatures around 30 degrees. On Tuesday there will also be isolated rain and thunderstorms. The maximum temperatures will then be around 30 degrees.

Wednesday and Thursday look very similar, with highs of around 30 degrees, with more showers and thunderstorms, especially in the afternoon and evening.

Friday and Saturday will have a lower chance of rain, but it’s still a good idea to have an umbrella handy. Highs will be closer to 90.
