Police respond to reports of shooting in Plantation

PLANTATION, Florida. – Authorities in Broward County are investigating what witnesses said was a shooting at an apartment complex.

It happened in the 4000 block of Northwest 10th Court in Plantation.

Police later confirmed that there had indeed been a shooting at the scene and that all those involved were present.

Local 10 News crews observed a number of officers at the scene.

Residents told Local 10 News’ Samiar Nefzi they heard at least three gunshots, adding that two people were shot, one in the chest and another in the leg.

The police did not provide any further information about the investigation, such as the number of people shot and the severity of their injuries.
