Driver dead after fiery crash in Hampton Falls, state police say

A motorist has died after a serious crash on the coast early Sunday morning, authorities said. New Hampshire State Police said troopers and the Hampton Falls Fire Department were called to a car fire on Exeter Road around 3:40 a.m. When they arrived, the vehicle was fully engulfed in flames, authorities said. A car driver was killed after a serious accident on the coast early Sunday morning, authorities said.

New Hampshire State Police said troopers and Hampton Falls Fire Department personnel were called to a vehicle fire on Exeter Road around 3:40 a.m.

When they arrived, the vehicle was fully engulfed in flames, authorities said. After the fire was extinguished, it was determined that the driver was the only person in the vehicle and was dead, state police said.

According to state police, no one else appeared to be involved in the accident.

Speed ​​appears to play a role, but all aspects are still being investigated, state police said.

The identity of the driver was not disclosed.
