ODESSA, Texas (KOSA) – CBS7 FIRST ALERT forecast for Wednesday, July 10, 2024: Afternoon temperatures will continue to rise this week, and there will also be some isolated showers/thunderstorms.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are forecast through mid-week as temperatures will be hot, but not too severe. The greatest chance of rain will be in the higher elevations of West Texas.

Hot…but not too hot…the weather will continue for the rest of the week and into the weekend. A slight chance of rain remains in the forecast for most of the next 10 days, but the best chance of rain will be Monday and Tuesday. Temperatures will start to rise again towards the end of next weekend, with above-average temperatures and triple-digit temperatures, but the next few days will remain pleasant.
