State Division of Criminal Justice Services issues alert about missing man

PORT DICKINSON (WBNG) — The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services has issued a missing vulnerable adult alert.

The Criminal Investigation Department has issued an alert for 85-year-old Brian J. Wood. Police said Wood suffers from Alzheimer’s disease and may need medical attention.

He was last seen on July 8 at 5 p.m. on Rochelle Road in the village of Port Dickinson. He was driving a blue 2007 Toyota Corolla with New York license plate BLZ-0836. Wood was wearing a yellow shirt, blue jeans and sneakers.

He is described as a man who is 1.73 m tall and weighs 80 kg, with brown hair and brown eyes.

He may be on his way to Syracuse.
