Find out what happened in the first game in Buffalo

The Bananas, who play a total of three games this weekend against the Firefighters, were welcomed to a sold-out Sahlen Field on Friday, July 5, 2024.

More than 16,000 fans packed into the city centre stadium to watch Banana Ball live, and they were treated to an incredible spectacle.

One of the best moments of the game came when Bananas catcher Eric Jones Jr. hit a home run at Sahlen Field. When Jones rounded the bases and scored his run, the Bananas celebrated the home run in true Buffalo fashion.

If you’ve ever heard the saying, “When in Rome, do as the Romans do,” then you can already understand what the Bananas did when Jones hit his home run.
