Cumberland County man arrested for allegedly exposing himself multiple times in bar

Cody Edman faces several charges following the June 26 incident, including simple assault and causing a public nuisance.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. — A Cumberland County man has been charged after allegedly attempting to fight people and exposing himself at a Camp Hill bar.

According to the Lower Allen Township Police Department, officers were dispatched to the Brewhouse Grille around midnight on June 26 for a fight. A man named Cody Edman, 28, was allegedly actively attempting to instigate fights and expose himself.

When officers arrived, they were told Edman had fled on foot. According to Lower Allen Township police, officers quickly spotted a man matching Edman’s description rounding the corner behind the bar. He was quickly detained while other officers spoke with witnesses.

It was reported that Edman was drinking alcoholic beverages and as the evening progressed he began invading the room and becoming “lewd” with other patrons of the bar.

Edman also allegedly began taunting other patrons sitting at the tables by striking poses and physically challenging them to a fight.

According to statements from bar patrons, Edman was also observed exposing himself to several people in the bar.

Edman was reportedly asked by staff to leave the bar, but refused. According to witnesses, he began entering and leaving the bar repeatedly.

According to police, Edman became verbally aggressive toward the officers standing in front of him after being told he was going to be arrested. Edman allegedly “exhaled deeply and made a distinct noise that sounded like he was getting ready to spit on the officer standing closer,” police said.

Instead of spitting it out, it was thrown to the ground.

Edman was charged with simple assault, public nuisance and trespassing.
