12-year-old boy seriously injured in accident in East Flatbush

A 12-year-old boy was hospitalized in critical but stable condition after a crash early Sunday morning in East Flatbush. Police said they received a 911 call around 1 a.m. reporting a pedestrian had been struck at Church Avenue and Kings Highway. When they arrived, officers found a 28-year-old man in a white BMW had struck the boy. Police said the man remained at the scene and no arrests were made.
