Residents on alert as wildfire threatens homes in Central Oregon

On Thursday, June 27, firefighters continued to battle the wind-driven Darlene 3 fire in central Oregon’s Deschutes County while residents remained on alert to evacuate if necessary.

According to the fire department, these images show a forest fire on Wednesday evening near the town of La Pine.
