Investigation underway after bullet-riddled car found in Princeton; section of US-1 closed – WSVN 7News | Miami News, Weather, Sports

PRINCETON, FLA. (WSVN) – A possible overnight shooting in Princeton sparked a major police response as Miami-Dade officers surrounded a bullet-riddled car at US-1 and Southwest 232nd Street.

According to witnesses, shots were heard before the vehicle slowly came to a stop. The victim’s condition is unknown.

Forensic investigators placed forensic markers at the crime scene. Video footage showed a car with windows shot out.

As a result of this incident, a section of US-1 near 232nd Street has been closed while the investigation continues.

Miami-Dade Police have been contacted for further information.
