Edward Blanks killed in Sacramento shooting | Identified

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The man killed in Old North Sacramento over the weekend has been identified as 51-year-old Edward Charles Blanks.

Blanks’ identity was confirmed Tuesday by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office.

The shooting occurred in the 400 block of Arden Way shortly after 2 p.m. Sunday. Police found Blanks shot and eventually pronounced him dead.

No one is in custody for the shooting.
