Officers investigating the robberies and assaults are now keen to speak to any witnesses or anyone who may have CCTV or dashcam footage from the area. Police said: “We are asking anyone who may have CCTV, Ring doorbell or dashcam footage to contact DC Dave Potter on 0161 8568122 or email [email protected].”

“We also encourage you to contact us if you have any information about these incidents which could assist police investigations. You can also share information anonymously with CrimeStoppers on or 0800 555 111.

“We understand that this may cause concern among local residents, but we believe this is an isolated incident and are working hard to identify all those responsible.”
