WWE removes Chad Gable from Money in the Bank qualifier after attack on Uncle Howdy

Chad Gable seemed doomed at the end of this week’s Raw (June 17) when Uncle Howdy returned to WWE and his group of Wyatt Sicks absolutely destroyed the backstage area.

Earlier in the evening, Chad vowed to win this year’s Money in the Bank contract, and he was booked for a three-way qualifying match for next week’s episode against Bronson Reed and Braun Strowman. But after Gable was potentially murdered by Howdy, it seemed like WWE would likely have to take Gable out of the match.

That is exactly what happened today, based on a graphic that was broadcast during WWE Main Event. Gable was eliminated from the match and replaced by Ilya Dragunov. Strowman is still in the match, so it’s possible that the online sleuths who thought they spotted his massive body among Howdy’s bloody wreckage were mistaken.

Who do you think will win this match and qualify for Money in the Bank, and when will we see Gable again? Give me your predictions in the comments below, Cagesiders.
