Investigations into the fire that destroyed a mobile home in Morganton are ongoing

MORGANTON, NC (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Officials are investigating the cause of a fire that destroyed a mobile home early Saturday morning, according to the Morganton Department of Public Safety.

Shortly before 4 a.m. on Saturday, emergency crews were called to a fire at 715 Carbon City Road.

When they arrived, they saw a trailer on fire on the property. A 49-year-old man was inside at the time, but officers reported that no one was injured.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
