Kenya Moore declares after suspension from RHOA: ‘I’m not going anywhere’ and receives support from the cast

Kenya Moore speaks out. Hours after ET learned that the Real Housewives of Atlanta Star was suspended indefinitely from filming the 16th season of the series, Kenya commented on the situation on Instagram Live.

While showing off her newly opened hair salon, Kenya admitted that she needs “a little bit of affection” because “there’s just a lot going on.” From her perspective, Kenya “fights the haters” by being a successful business owner. She is also a mom to 5-year-old Brooklyn, whom she shares with her ex Marc Daly.

“I will never understand how people go out of their way to smear my name or ruin my business,” she said. “Leave me alone. I’m a single mother. I’m just like everyone else here. I don’t get child support, I don’t get anything. I’m the only one taking care of my daughter.”

She asked her fans to “accompany her on this journey,” especially during this “very difficult week.”

“I’m blessed,” Kenya said. “I just want people to stop ruining another black woman’s business. It’s not that bad. I don’t bother people as long as they don’t bother me.”

“I always win, you know?” she added. “It’s in my blood. Success is all around me. So I accept that. God gave me this, but I also give back as much as I can.”

Kenya assured her followers that they would “see” her in the next few days.

“I’m not going anywhere, despite all the stuff that comes with it, whatever… people want to write,” she said.

Throughout her live performance, Kenya’s fellow housewives watched and commented on her with kind words. In fact, Kenya Drew Sidora And Porsha Williams as supportive friends.

Porsha wrote in the comments, “We love you!!,” praising Kenya as a “queen.” Meanwhile, Shamea Morton and Angela Oakley revealed they were watching, and Drew praised Kenya’s hair.

Kelli Ferrell saw Kenya’s live broadcast but did not comment. That leaves only Cynthia Bailey, who is presumably working out of the country, and Brittany Eady, with whom Kenya’s alleged drama is connected.

A source previously told ET: “Kenya was suspended for allegedly showing Brittany engaging in sexual acts at the opening of her Kenya Moore Hair Spa in Atlanta. The images were reportedly sourced online. The network is still reviewing the content Kenya showed during filming.”

ET can confirm that Brittany and the rest of the cast are still filming; it’s unclear if Kenya will return to the show following this incident.

Regarding online rumors that Kenya was at gunpoint, a source close to the show told ET, “At no point was Kenya threatened with a gun, nor was there a gun involved during the entire production.”

Following the alleged incident, Kenya defended herself on social media, posting: “I would never engage in revenge porn, I have never distributed anyone’s private images or footage, nor have I requested images from others to threaten or blackmail.” She maintained her innocence, adding: “I have always been vindicated.”

Brittany also addressed the controversy on Instagram, expressing her pain at being “attacked or bullied” and denying any involvement with weapons or threats. “Just to clarify, I have never owned weapons or ever threatened anyone.”
