Motorcycle vs. Pickup in Twin Falls

On Wednesday afternoon, ISP responded to an accident on Pole Line Road at Bridgeview Boulevard around 4:15 p.m. The police blog shares the following information:

A white 2009 Honda ST1300 motorcycle was traveling eastbound on Pole Line Road East while a blue 2016 Ford F-150 pickup truck was traveling westbound on the same roadway attempting to turn southbound onto Bridgeview Boulevard. While making a left turn, the Ford pickup truck, driven by a 41-year-old Buhl woman, failed to yield the right of way and was struck by the Honda motorcycle, driven by a 29-year-old Shoshone man.

The motorcyclist was taken by air ambulance to a local hospital in Pocatello.

The motorcyclist was wearing a full-face helmet and the driver of the Ford pickup was wearing a shoulder and lap belt at the time of the accident.

The accident closed the intersection for approximately 3 hours while emergency responders assisted those involved and cleared the scene. ISP was assisted by the Twin Falls Police Department, Twin Falls Fire Department and Magic Valley paramedics.
