Philadelphia woman dead, dozens injured in party bus crash on I-95 in Harford County

BALTIMORE — A Philadelphia woman died and several people were injured when a party bus crashed into a guardrail on I-95 in Harford County Sunday morning.

According to Maryland State Police, there were 24 people on the bus around 6 a.m. when the bus lost control and crashed in the northbound lanes near mile marker 77.


The Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company said 30-year-old Alexis Nicole Kegler of Philadelphia died at the scene and 23 were taken to hospitals.

According to a volunteer fire department post on X, formerly known as Twitter, the bus belonged to Philadelphia-based Just Becuz Entertainment. The company’s website says it offers transportation from Philadelphia to New York, Baltimore and Washington, DC

Northbound I-95 in Harford County has reopened after being closed for several hours.

Officials say no charges have been filed at this time.

The Maryland Transportation Authority Police, Harford County Sheriff’s Office and the Maryland State Police Crash Team are investigating this accident.
