Man seriously injured in car-pedestrian accident in Edinburgh

EDINBURG, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A man is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle on one of Edinburg’s busiest streets.

According to police, the car-pedestrian accident occurred around 9 p.m. Tuesday on the eastbound lanes of 1700 W. University Dr.

According to police, the victim was taken to DHR Health Hospital in critical condition.

University Drive from Pin Oak Road to Sugar Road will be closed to traffic starting at 10:30 p.m.
