Shooting at Harford Mall leaves one injured – WCBM TALKRADIO AM 680

In a disturbing incident Sunday afternoon, a 42-year-old man was flown by helicopter to a Baltimore-area trauma center after being shot at Harford Mall. The shooting occurred just after 4 p.m., and police officers responded immediately.

When officers arrived at the scene at 696 Bel Air Road, they discovered the male victim suffering from gunshot wounds. They immediately rendered medical aid and secured the mall, initially treating the situation as an active firearms incident until more information could be gathered.

Through witness statements, authorities were able to identify a possible suspect vehicle and suspect. The suspect vehicle was later located in Edgewood, MD and efforts are underway to locate the suspect, whose identity remains under surveillance due to the ongoing investigation.

According to current information, police believe this is an isolated incident involving one victim and one suspect. The victim is reportedly in stable condition in the trauma center.
