Airline provider suspended due to BWI brawl

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, Maryland – Four airline salesmen at BWI were suspended following a brawl Tuesday night.

On May 28, at approximately 4:15 p.m., MDTA officials responded to reports of a fight at the Spirit Airlines ticket counter.

According to officials, five people were involved and one of them suffered minor injuries.

Spirit confirms that four of them were airline suppliers.

“We do not tolerate violence of any kind,” a Spirit spokesman said in a statement.

Below is their full statement:

We are aware of a dispute that occurred in Baltimore (BWI) on May 28. Our supplier has suspended four of its employees involved pending investigation. We do not tolerate violence of any kind and will take appropriate action once the supplier’s investigation is complete.
